My recent composition was Magnolias for the Meehan/Perkins Duo is a continuation develops polymetric grooves from an algorithmic, minimalistic score, inspired in part by the works of John Cage, Christian Wolff, Pauline Oliveros, and Larry Polansky.
More recent work has explored multimedia graphic and text based scores and working closely with ensembles to create guided improvisations. An example is my work with the NYC based loadbang ensemble. We worked together over the course of several days on a structured improvisation built around a mixed media, graphic collage score:
